Surprise: No Spyware

At work, most of the computers around have an awful lot of Spyware of all kinds, despite of having a firewall, a HTTP proxy that controls all Web access, an antivirus program (Ok, antivirus never do anything with Spyware, and I still wonder why), and an additional personal firewall on each computer. I was wondering what about my personal computer.

No spyware found on the machine

Surpisingly there is nothing!! Nill!! Zeig!! Nada!! I get the feeling that the best way to keep a computer away from Spyware is mostly a careful user, that does not install suspicious programs.
